Privacy Policy
Version v2 · Last updated: October 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how GetPandit, owned and operated by Nexynth Labs Private Limited, collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data on our website and mobile apps. It applies to customers, pandits, and other registered users.
1. Data we collect
Depending on how you use GetPandit, we may collect:
- Account details such as name, phone number, email, password hash, residency, and address or pincode.
- Booking details including requested service, schedule, location, and communications needed to fulfil the booking.
- Payment-related records from our gateway partners (we do not store full card or UPI credentials on our servers).
- Pandit onboarding data such as profile, specializations, pricing, availability, temple association, and identity or verification documents.
- Device, log, and usage data, and location when you allow it for search or mapping.
2. How we use data
We use personal data to create and secure accounts, send OTPs and transactional notices, operate bookings and payouts, show relevant pandits and services, verify pandit applications, prevent abuse, improve the product, and meet legal obligations.
OTP and SMS, when live delivery is enabled, are sent only to supported Indian (+91) destinations through the configured provider. Unsupported destinations do not receive SMS.
3. Legal bases and consent
We process data to perform a contract with you (registration, booking, pandit onboarding), to pursue legitimate operational interests such as security and fraud prevention, to comply with law, and where we ask for consent (for example, terms/privacy acceptance recorded on your account).
Scrolling a policy is not treated as understanding. We record only an explicit checkbox acceptance together with the document version and a timestamp.
4. Sharing
We share information with the pandit or customer as needed to fulfil a booking, with payment processors, with SMS or cloud vendors under contract, and when required by law or to protect users.
We do not sell personal information.
5. Documents and verification
Identity and supporting documents uploaded for pandit (or similar) verification are used to assess eligibility and to meet compliance needs. Access is limited to operational roles that need them. Do not upload documents that are not requested.
6. Retention
We keep account, booking, consent, and verification records for as long as needed to operate the service, resolve disputes, and meet legal or tax retention duties, then delete or anonymise them according to our operational process.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures, including access controls and encrypted transport. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
8. Your rights
You may request access, correction, or deletion of certain personal data, or raise a privacy complaint, through Support. We may need to verify your identity and may retain data where the law requires it (for example, completed bookings or fraud prevention).
9. Children
GetPandit is intended for adults who can form a contract. Do not create an account for a child. Ceremony details that mention family members are provided by the booking adult.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this policy. When the version identifier changes, we will ask for a fresh acceptance before registration or before a booking that requires current consent.
Privacy questions can be raised through the Support page. See also the Terms & Conditions and Refund Policy.
Opening and scrolling this document is not treated as agreement. Agreement is recorded only when you explicitly check the acceptance box.
